Wall mount ready sculpture similar to the icon I grew up looking at; with amendments. My version represents the power of a woman's body and the comfort we seek in her open loving arms. The white Hydrocal (Plaster/resin) mimics traditional alabaster artifacts communicating purity and forgiveness
