As a working artist for the past thirty years, I am inspired by nature and architecture, especially by the texture and form. I use white clay bodies, mason stains, and glazes to help emphasize the surfaces of my work. My sculptures take shape as animals, plants, landscapes and buildings. We are closely connected to our environment and I hope to honor it with my work. Every sculpture is hand built, unique and conveys a sense of character.
You can find my work in private collections, The Mix Cooperative at the Niza Knoll Gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District, The Summer Art Market, and selected juried shows. I served as a Board Member at the Art Students League of Denver and worked as an Art Instructor for children’s classes at the Denver Art Museum.
