Alternative Printmaking

Entry Deadline: Feb 24, 2024
Exhibition Dates: March 1 - March 31, 2024

You still have a chance to show off your best Alternative Printmaking Skills during the Month of Printmaking!

While there are many printmaking techniques—this show is about the use of "alternative" printmaking methods to create your artwork. Think monotypes, collagraphs, gelli prints; making and using stamps and stencils, positive and negative shapes, printing with found objects, etc. You can also incorporate these or more traditional techniques like woodcut, etching, engraving, lithography, and screen printing into an artwork of another medium in creative ways.

Your entry may include works like mixed media, clay printing, original transfer art on clay, gelli prints, monoprint, collage, collagraph, printing on cloth or clay, cyanotype, silkscreen, etc.

If you would like clarification or want to see if your idea or piece fits the vision of this show feel free to contact Niza - nizak@mac.com.

Show will be juried by Niza Knoll.

The Month of Printmaking (Mo’Print) is a biennial celebration that highlights the art of making original, fine art prints to inspire, educate and promote awareness in the Denver metropolitan area, the front range region, and throughout Colorado.
