King penguins in the Surf, Gold Harbour
South Georgia, in the Southern Ocean, is a remote and stunningly beautiful island in the Southern Ocean. On the island there is an incredible beach called Gold Harbour, filled with rich wildlife: King penguins, Elephant seals, Fur Seals, Skua, Albatross, and more. This photo was early morning at Gold Harbour as a group of King penguins were entering the ocean.
