Over the last 50+ years, Denver-Based Photographer Jay Dickman’s expansive career has taken him on such adventures as living in a stone-age village in Papua New Guinea for three months, staying a week under the Arctic ice on a nuclear attack sub, and spending time aboard a sinking boat on the Amazon. He has won the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the war in El Salvador, traveled the world working on stories for National Geographic, and has even photographed the Super Bowl multiple times.

Month of Photography Denver is a biennial festival presented by the Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) that celebrates the art of photography through exhibitions and events across the region and runs March 1 through 31, 2023. Visit denvermop.org for a full schedule of events and exhibitions.
