The “Body of Knowledge” exhibit seeks to celebrate not just the female body and its inherent intelligence, but the knowledge that women collectively have acquired over the ages to create, inspire, and imaginatively nurture humanity and the planet. All works in the exhibit are by accomplished members of the Women’s Caucus for Art. The curators for the show include WCACO members Kim Roberts, Susann Gordon & Barb Hinnekamp.

First Friday Art Walk: Feb 2, 5-9 pm

Third Friday Art WalkFebruary 16, 5-8 pm
Artist Talks: February 25, 2-4 pm  

In addition to providing opportunities for its members to display their art, the WCACO strives to create community through art, education, and social activism. The WCACO is committed to:

  • recognizing the contributions of women in the arts
  • providing women with leadership opportunities and professional development
  • expanding networking and exhibition opportunities for women
  • supporting local, national, and global art activism
  • advocating for equity in the arts for all.

The Colorado Chapter is the largest chapter of the nationwide Women’s Caucus for Art. Founded in 1972 in connection with the College Art Association (CAA), WCA is a national member organization unique in its multidisciplinary, multicultural membership of artists, art historians, students, educators, and museum professionals.
