When it comes to art and creativity, why should children have all the fun? Research shows that engaging in creative activities as we age may be as important as exercise and healthy eating. This certainly rings true with seven local artists whose ages range from the 70s to late 90s featured in a new exhibit at Niza Knoll Gallery curated by Damon McLeese, Executive Director of Access Gallery.

These vibrant, engaged individuals will showcase ceramic sculptures, paintings, and digital artwork created within the last 5 years. The goal of this show is to combat ageism—how we think, feel and act toward others or ourselves, based on age.
