Fox River Fly fisherman
The 36-mile long Fox River, a tributary of the Manistique River, flows through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula; Ernest Hemingway used the Fox River as inspiration for his famous short-story, “Big Two-Hearted River.” When shooting a story for National Geographic on this river, I wanted to illustrate the story’s main subject love for flyfishing in this area.
